About Our School
Northrop Community School teaches students to love nature and learning

Located just minutes away from Lake Nokomis, Lake Hiawatha, Minnehaha Creek and Minnehaha Falls, Northrop Community School is located in the Standish-Ericsson neighborhood of Minneapolis. Families can expect rigor in literacy, writing and math, as well as individual plans to provide acceleration or support based on a student’s need. Northrop’s focus on STEM and environmental education encourages students to understand and be conscious caretakers of the world around them.
