About Our School

Minneapolis Academy and Career Center (MACC)

Minneapolis Academy and Career Center focuses on the future

The Minneapolis Academy and Career Center (MACC) is an MPS alternative high school for students wanting to learn in a community focused on college and career readiness. MACC provides opportunities for students to focus on college and career success through flexible scheduling, small class sizes, and recovery credit-earning opportunities. Students are encouraged to participate in work-based learning and internship opportunities. MACC partners with Minneapolis College through the D3 model- Destination: Diploma to Degree. MACC students define their career pathways and work towards an associate’s degree while getting a high school diploma.
