About Our School
Franklin Middle

Franklin STEAM Middle School offers rigorous STEAM experiences

Franklin STEAM Middle School has a STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts and math) focus. Located in the Minneapolis Near North neighborhood, Franklin’s updated facilities — including a swimming pool — offer students an opportunity to continue their education with a community pathway from elementary through high school. This citywide magnet school offers a cutting-edge STEAM education that will allow students to make the connection between the concepts learned in class and the real world. For students to develop problem solving skills, STEAM education starts with students mastering foundational skills, then challenges them to use their critical thinking skills to solve a variety of real-world problems.
